LATEST WECAN NEWS: February 2012

• Networked Environment Region/WECAN project evaluation tender issued and project started. This is supported by: CCW, FCW, Welsh Government and Groundwork Wales. Click here for more details.

• Green Infrastructure Toolkit training completed for WECAN team and partners.

• Caerau Market Garden and Sustainable Urban Drainage Scheme works launched on 14 February 2012. This represents a strategic investment of £105k by WECAN.

• Big Pitch 2011 evaluation, videos and case study completed. Big Pitch involved Rock UK, the four Further Education Colleges in the Valleys, funding from the Welsh Government and sponsorship from Capita Symonds, Rhymney Brewery, UHOVI and WECAN. Click here for more details.
