Strategic project to create and improve 10km of access encompassing various trails between communities and the natural environment with associated environmental improvements in the Cynon Valley.
Dare Valley Country Park Phase II (17)
Provide pedestrian access from Aberdare town centre, and Coach Parking.
Lower Rhondda Valley Green Corridor (27)
Improving 5km of access trails, with associated environmental improvements between Pontypridd & Porth including enhanced access to Rhondda Heritage Park & Barry Sidings Countryside Park.
Craig y Ddinas Recreation Area (66)
*sponsored by Forestry Commission Wales (located
RCT)
Waterfalls country. Issues around signage and car parking in Pontneddfechan.
Funding wanted for 1.7km of path improvement, 0.5ha improved car parking area + Outdoor changing area, more picnic benches.
