The Valleys Regional Park
Parc Rhanbarthol y Cymoedd
The Lliw reservoirs lie within an area of stunning mountain scenery that characterises the Mawr, north of Swansea. They are surrounded by a mosaic of habitats including bracken, scrub and broad-leaved woodland with a wide diversity of rare flora and fauna. The area is popular with visitors keen to enjoy the area especially walkers.
The project reopened the café and fishery as a lease from Dwr Cymru/Welsh Water to be run by the Mawr Development Trust, a community-based organisation.
The project totally refurbished the café including upgrading the catering equipment and redecorating the toilets.
