COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND INITIATIVES SUB-
AIM
To advise upon, inform and drive implementation of the VRP action plan through
encouraging and ensuring meaningful community involvement and participation to provide
benefits to both local communities and visitors to the Valleys through:
• exchanging and promoting best practice
• sharing awareness and identifying common
opportunities for collaborative action to maximise those opportunities
• stimulating the imagination and interest of communities and relevant organisations
• acting as a catalyst to achieve sustainable local community action
